Last Autumn, we were delighted to be asked by Quark Expeditions to inspect candidate vessel to bolster the fleet of exploration class passenger ship, alongside Ultramarine. Whilst more compact than Ultramarine, Ocean Explorer is a strikingly modern vessel with an impressive array of capabilities to venture off the beaten tracks. Now that a fresh drydock is almost complete, we wish fair seas and smooth passages to the crew and passengers alike under the colours of Quark Expeditions.
